The perforated sides really make a difference on warm days — I felt noticeably cooler than in my old hat. It’s also surprisingly lightweight, barely notice it’s there during long runs.

Wore this on a 9-mile ridge hike in full sun and barely noticed it was there — the recycled polyester is stupid light and dries fast once you sweat through it. The five-panel shape actually holds up in wind too, which I didn't expect from something this thin.
